Christmas wreathmaking

The hands-on classes are being led by experienced and passionate florist Marilyn ably assisted by Kate in the old workshop at St Werburgh’s House (the old rectory).

There you will be guided through a floral design masterclass using natural, home-grown, locally sourced and seasonal materials wherever possible.  This class is the perfect introduction to the world of floristry and is ideal for both beginners and those looking to expand their wreath design skills. Our courses are relaxed, informative and the perfect opportunity to get in the festive mood, indulge your creativity and learn the time-honoured sustainable methods of Christmas wreath making.

Starting with a frame, moss and wire as a base, you will create learn how to create a foliage-filled design that will be classically styled to your liking to impress in time for Christmas.

Expect mulled wine, mince pies and plenty of classic Christmas material with a gorgeous wreath to take home and enjoy in time for Christmas.
